After a few months of shaving with the R41, I can tell you that it is a fairly aggressive safety razor even after the revamped addition. I give it a 8/10 on my aggressiveness scale. The open comb on this safety razor really exposes a lot of the blade ( open comb vs closed comb razor).
Is a straight blade better than a razor?

How aggressive is Muhle R89?
The Muhle R89 is just too aggressive for me. It’s a beautiful razor that’s clearly well made, but I have fair, sensitive skin and it didn’t give me a very comfortable shave. Don’t get me wrong. It will give you a supremely close shave, but my skin just can’t take it.

Why is shaving with a straight razor better?
